A journey of faith and beauty

Mariem & Youeel chose a place where the river, the gardens, and the grandeur of Portugal come together in a way that feels almost unreal.

The Hospital de São Marcos, originally a Templar convent, now transformed into the hotel they got ready at. Being a history nerd, I couldn't help but marvel at the gorgeous history present in the walls around us.

They traveled from Toronto, their families from every corner of the world — and while the luxury of Portugal was unforgettable, it was their warmth toward every guest that made the day feel extraordinary.

I spent the day before wandering Braga — the city of bells — with them, doing what I love most for my destination couples: exploring, discovering, and letting the city become part of their story.

Mariem, Youeel, you two are incredibly kind souls and I wish you nothing but love and happiness forever! Also, when next I come up to Toronto, I'll hit y'all up for some gelato!
