Last year, a colleague and friend of mine Anesha Collins, called me with news that her illness had returned and was terminal.

I was shaken with the shock and grief of the news but, more importantly, I was in awe of the grace, bravery, and care she held while speaking about her clients. That she was a pillar of the wedding community is without question. Further than that, she was an amazing woman with the most honed artistic eye I've ever seen. Her work was unparalleled, her vision was unwavering, and her insight was invaluable.

I held her in highest esteem as the benchmark for what my own company should seek to achieve creatively and in professional reputation. So when she gave me the opportunity to take on a client that she knew she would be unable to film, I was truly and deeply honored.

That is why Duane & Jennie's film is especially meaningful for both of us. It represents not only a beautiful day of happiness and celebration, but also a memorial to the legacy of a dearly departed friend.
